The time had come for Levi's first professional haircut. We had been dreading it for a while and put it off as long as we could, but it really was time to get a handle on his precious tangled locks. When it was all over it looked like a sweet lamb had been shorn!
It began with a sneak attack from behind...
Wait a minute, what's going on!
I'm ready to get off this ride!
Not the clippers!!!
How much longer!!
Needing a draw on the pink paci!
Feeling like a big boy and rocking to Toby Mac!
It totally broke my heart to see his curly Q's go.....we're still treating him like a baby!
First day of middle school was Thursday. Here's Matt and Nash ready to go with their awesome new messenger bags from our dear friends Gwen and Suzanne's new website 147 MIllion Orphans
These boys are "always prepared to give an answer for the hope they have"

Super excited 6th graders---Andrew, Patrick, Trevor and Nash

oh that hair!!!!!!!!! he's not too handsome, oh my, i'm still loving those long curly locks, and yes, back to school......
The cut looks great!!! I was really sad that you were cutting it, but I love how it turned out. He looks so very big now, though.
Hugs from us!
Oh my goodness, I'm mourning the curly q's with you. He looks so much older, doesn't he? Ummm, he's still so yummy though! :)
LOVE the new haircut. What a little man. :) I totally sympathize with grieving the loss of what my African American brother-in-law calls the "TWA" -- teeny weeny afro. :)
(By the way, I have been lurking, and I cannot wait to see you bring your children home. Praying the time comes quickly.)
Levi looks so grown up!
Love the bags -can't wait to get mine! :)
Look at how precious he looks with his short hair! I have to take my bio son for a massive hair reduction too this week! I just love curls, so I always hate to see anyone have to cut them! It's probably a scar left over from the time I dropped my two year old off at grandmom's with long curly hair and picked up a clean shaven son. It was a shocker, yes, he probably needed a cut, but I wanted to have the say and be able to save some of it, you know! :) All of your boys look adorable! Hope the older ones have a great year in school!
oh thank you, we are soooo excited, can't wait for you to post of goodnews!!!
I left a comment, but it didn't pop up... I LOVE THE HAIR CUT!! I pray for your family and God's miracles with our adoption. I WISH like crazy you could come to our Branson Africa Reunion over Labor Day. Are you crazy & spontaneous???!!! LOL
If you want to add our new blog to your roll.... I would be so honored! Keep in touch dear sister!
