We had truly hoped to have all of our children home for Christmas--- but as always, God had a more perfect plan--- He is blessing us with a visit from their orphanage director who made a trip to the US to escort a child to her family. I'll get spend time with the person whom God has used to rescue and nurture our kids as He is preparing them for us. I'll get to hear stories and details of their lives and history, and she'll be able to return to them and tell them about the family God has given them in ways that a photo album could never convey.
I'm feeling sort of like John the Baptist is coming to prepare the way for the Lord to our home! --- and standing amazed at God's goodness and His perfect ways of encouraging us and so many other's that she will visit while she is here.

Your words, your heart and your life inspire me...we have changed the date (for the last time... grin)on our prayer board...we'll be calling out their names on the 12th.....I can't wait to come home and hopefully get to meet you...maybe we can do lunch with Merica...what a blast!

January 12th is coming fast. How exciting! Sorry it didn't happen for Christmas, but as you said, "God's timing is perfect."
